JUAN SAYS: We only heard about the “pasador” through our moms and aunts. They were describing how they would gather all the old and gula-gulanit cotton sandos of their fathers and brothers, cut them up and stitch them to make the “pasador.” You know what’s a pasador right? For those who were born in the 90s, the pasador is your old fashion sanitary napkins. Our moms and some of your lolas used them a long long time ago, and no they never threw them out. After use, they would wash it and hang to dry like normal underwear. We used to cringe at that thought until we came across this facebook page of a seller of “pasadors.” (Check link here)

Still the same principle of stitched cotton cloth used by women during their periods, but this time it comes in cute prints. You’d still have to wash them though after usage. Given this, would you want to use a “pasador?”
