07 Aug Fraud Ba Kamo?
JUAN SAYS: So this is what some of us have reduced marriage to be. A man dates a woman who slathers herself with too much make up and he isn’t bothered by it. He marries her and on their wedding night she removes her make up and he sees an odd-looking person much different from the woman whom he married with all the make up on. He goes on by suing her for fraud. (Read full story here.)
If we follow this man’s thinking, and the others that preceded this story, the premise of why a man gets married seems to have been forgotten. Unfortunately folks, we are not even talking about love. Shouldn’t it be that when one considers marriage, one is matured enough to understand that marrying someone is beyond the looks, because if you base it simply on how your potential partner looks like, just like many things in this life, the face withers through time. How shallow naman can some people be? And to go as far as suing the other party for wearing too much make up and consider it as fraud? Maybe the aggrieved party can counter sue for psychological incapacity or stupidity. Not knowing what he is getting into and not accepting the consequences of it is beyond stupidity. And we would like to believe that a man or woman for that matter of marrying age, and is still incapable of exercising this form of maturity is more fraudulent than putting too much make up on.
