JUAN SAYS: Finally, the Metro Manila Film Festival can now be considered a serious film festival as it shuts out those “basura” films that has tainted MMFF since, well most of us can remember. We at JUAN are amongst those who are rejoicing. With this bold move, we feel vindicated for all the campaigns we made for MMFF New Wave in 2014. We are sharing with you our initial boards which didn’t make the final cut. In a make believe world, JUAN would have made any of these campaigns work for this year’s festival, but we’d rather leave it to commercial marketing professionals hoping that they would not reduce it to another circus that was festival-past. Today, we still stand by the campaigns we made for MMFF, rejected or not. We feel that this will be the story of the season!
