20 Oct Menopause Shouldn’t Hinder True Love
JUAN SAYS: She is Sandy all over again and this time she sings “Hopelessly Devoted To You” with a spark in her eyes. Olivia Newton-John, most famous for her role Sandy in the movie musical Grease, says she found love when she was 59. After a heart break and traumatic experience when ex-partner Patrick McDermott mysteriously went missing in 2005, Olivia found the love of her life, husband of eight years John Easterling.
“He’s incredibly smart and compassionate. He says yes to everything, he says yes to life!” the iconic singer says about her husband, that is after 8 years of marriage.
Olivia Newton John should serve as an inspiration to many of us, those who haven’t found love at an advanced age, and those who are wondering if they will ever find love — the true one at that. Sometimes it takes a lot of waiting and heartbreak before one meets the love of their lives. Why, you may ask? Because it is what it is. Age should never hinder love, not even if your supposed sex drive is running dry. True love waits, no matter if you are on your way to turning 60, because again, it is what it is.
Olivia Newton John is happier than ever, gushing still over her husband. We all know it is still possible, that feeling you get when you are falling in love way back when you were in your teens. It is still possible to be with somebody who’d want to spend the remaining years of your life with you, menopause or not.
Because nothing can hinder love, not even dry spells down south. That we believe!
P.S. This is NOT from Grease. But that’s Olivia Newton John in Xanadu.
