16 Aug The Unlayering of Cosmos Art
For most of us, life is one big work of art. Everyday, without realizing it, we express layers of who we are and that is expression is art in motion. But there are lucky ones who are gifted with the ability to skillfully express themselves and how they interpret the world. One of these blessed individuals is the woman behind Cosmos Art, Mary Anne Hondreal Legaspi or Strobs.
Ball point pen Artist, Mixed Media Artist, Recycled Art Advocate (using recycled paper as paper clay spheres. polystyrene)
Strobs is a ballpoint pen artist, mixed media artist, and a recycled art advocate. Cosmos Art is what she considers “creating with God”. She says, “I believe that it is not the medium, method or technique that I use in my world called “Cosmos Art” which makes it live its purpose but the artistic significance and meaning that the artwork gives my audience. That life is a continuous evolution of highs and lows; A never ending Journey around this immeasurable playground, believing that making mistakes and falling down is a part of life, but getting back up and moving on is what LIVING is all about.”
Through her art, Strobs is able to work her way through the different layers of creation such as prosperitism (prosperity affirmation through Cosmos Art using circles, spheres, globes, and swirls as the circle of prosperity that connects us to all the beautiful aspects in the circle of life. She futher explains, “My pointillism approach using circles and spheres and dots in my art discuss the ever-changing fluctuations in our attitude towards past decisions, experiences, and future goals. Some days it feels certain that we’re headed the right path, other times we feel completely misplaced. It’s a continuous evolution of highs and lows characterized by the balancing of family, friends, desires, and aspirations.”
Her work also adds a layer of specific outlook and opinions on noteworthy events and people in and around her life, “I was so excited to share Cosmos Art to the world, “Where Art meets The HEART”. Yes! It will be hard in the beginning, but it will get easier. And that’s the whole point. As my passion, pure love and purpose grows, I can take on bigger challenges. Our life presses forth as we stumble and molds us to become a better person. I made small, positive changes through art expression as an amazing way to get excited about life. A never ending path that even the most imperfect situations can be made better with a little love and laughter.”
Truly, with art we can express ourselves more and discover layers of ourselves and become better versions of who we are.
